Important: All items at Acid Butterfly are handmade originals. Please read the full policy before purchasing.
All Sales Are Final
Because every item is an original handmade work, all sales are final. I do not issue refunds or accept returns. Please review photos carefully and contact me with any questions before purchasing.
Shipping
Items are shipped via USPS or UPS depending on the item, with tracking provided. International shipping is available.
Commissions
Custom/commission pieces require 2–8 weeks of production time before shipping.
Packaging
All artwork is carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit. Paintings are wrapped in acid-free tissue, backed with foam board, and placed in rigid mailers or boxes. Sculptures are wrapped with kraft paper and bubble wrap.
Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged due to shipping, please photograph the damage immediately and contact me within 48 hours. I will work with you to find a resolution, including filing a claim with the carrier.
Payment
Payments are processed securely through Wix. All transactions are encrypted and secure — I never see or store your payment details.
Commissions
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin any commissioned work. The remaining 50% is due before I ship the completed piece. Once work has begun, deposits are non-refundable.
Copyright & Reproduction
All artwork on this site is the sole copyright of Heather Kilgore / Acid Butterfly. Purchasing an item does not transfer copyright. You may not reproduce, print, sell, or distribute my artwork without explicit written permission. Commissioned pieces retain my copyright unless a separate licensing agreement is made.
Privacy
Your personal information (name, email, shipping address) is used only to fulfill your order and communicate with you about it. I do not sell or share your data with third parties except as required to process payment and ship your order.
